WEIGHER
MOD.
PDP The fruit and vegetables coming from an accumulator or any other feeding system can arrive in bluk or one by one. In the first case, the fruit or vegetables are placed into hopper with vibrator platforms that convey the product to a system with four independent elevating buckets conveyors which, in synchronism with conveying cups of the weigher, introcuce the content of each bucket into the corresponding cups. In the second case, the feeding system conveys, one by one, the piece of fruit or vegetable, directly to the bucket. Once the product is placed into the buckets, the performance is the same as the one descibed above, on the first paragraph. The conveying cups of the PDP are linked, four by four, to a shaft that, once in the weighing area, frees them allowing a dynamic weighing and that, when the product must be dropped, selects on which discharge belt where it must be placed according to the data given by the computer. The cups come back to their horizontal position before travelling to the feeding point. If one of the cups has not been unloaded, the cup restarts its cycle; but, once in the loading area, the feeding elevator does noy unload any new product in this cup. Once the content of each cup has been weighed, a processor that carries out an associative computation stores the data. This weighing system permits to select the fruit to be unloaded on the discharge belt according to the programmed weight and allowed overweight.
