WEIGHER MOD. PD1

       PD1 is the generic name of a machine with a non-stop weighing system, called dynamica weighing. Depending on the the type of product to weigh: fruits or vegetables, the PD1 offers threedifferent models:
      1) PD1-C: desingned for citrus fruits such as oranges, mandarins, grapefruits, lemons, etc.
      2) PD1-M: designed for sort fruits such and apples, kiwis, peaches, nectarines, etc.
      3) PD1-T: specially designed for weighing tomatoes..
      

      TECHNICAL PROCESS:
      The fruits or vegetables are dropped from a standard feeding system into the infeed hopper of the weigher. From there, are raised by two inclinated roller conveyors which align them. Moreover, a mechanism located on these conveyors allows the feeding in of the fruits or vegetables one by one.

      Each row of roolers is synchronized with a row of cups and, when the product arrives on the top of the conveyours, it is gently dropped into the carrier cup. The fruit or vegetables is then conveyed, weighed and, finally, dropped upon the discharge belt selected by the computer.

      If the product has not been deposites on any of the four discharge belts, the cup restarts its cycle but, this time, without being fed with any fruit or vegetables. A clutch system allows to enable the elevator to fee in the empty cups or disabled it if the cups are full.

      When the cup passes through the weighing area controlled by a high precission load cell, its content so weighed. This data is stored by processor which carries out an associative computation. This weighing system permits to select the fruits which must be discharge conveyor according to the programmed weight and allowed overweight.

PD1-C:
standrad weigher for citrus fruits.
PD1-M: the rollers of the infeed conveyor are in rubber. Besides, this weigher has rotary brushes that cushion the fall of the produts on the outfeed belts.
PD1-T: the fall of the products from the outfeed conveyors has been reduced to the minimun..
