The fruits and vegetables from a weighing or counting system are received in a grouping hopper, which pours out its contents into a plastic bag which is held facing the filling nozzle.

      The machine carries a reel of pre-formed bags, which would leave this continuously, passing through the items for tautening, the printing staation and partial tearing off to separate one bag, for next. In its feed movement, the lateral sheets are separated by means of guides to open the bag, and when this is facing the filling mouth, the bag is folded upwards, by means of a lifting system and in the filling process it is gradually unfolded as this drops, to prevent any impact to the fruits.

      The bag is then closed by means of a longitudinal weld at the top, the full bag then being totally separated from the previous one, thus obtaining a sealed bag with its contents as sales unit.
