Check Weigher CW-1 is the Giró’s answer to the need of extending quality control along the packing process. Current packaging standards demand high reliability in the features of fresh produce supplied to the retail chains. One of these features is weight. The new CW-1 closes the control process which starts in the weighing machine by verifying if the weight of each bag reaches the required standards.
CW-1 is an optional device which can be installed in all bagging machines within the GirBagger range. It includes a weighing electronic device mechanically isolated from external vibrations which takes the measurement. An integrated processor evaluates whether this measurement is within a previously recorded accepted weight range and transmits this information to a second unit called rejecting system which deviates those bags with out-of-range weights out of the packing line.
